We design and build decorative facades worldwide for parks, hotels, restaurants, attractions, commercial buildings and private properties. Using durable steel systems, lightweight XPS/EPS cores and advanced finishing techniques, we transform ordinary walls into stone castles, timber villages, rock cliffs, themed streets, luxury exteriors or completely custom concepts. We create realistic textures including stone, wood, metal, concrete and artistic finishes. Lighting, signage, smoke and integrated effects can be included. Built on-site or produced to order worldwide.

A whole house in hand-made brick and stone

Technique
Stone and brick carved directly on the wall
Instead of sticking on ready-made tiles, we create a monolithic layer on site in which every stone, joint and fracture is made by hand. The pattern never repeats, and the cladding wraps seamlessly around corners, arches, bay windows, steps and unusual details. We have developed this technique since the company’s earliest years.
The same method gives complete façades from plinth to window details, plinths alone (the most exposed part of a façade), columns, pilasters, bay windows, entrance portals, window and door surrounds, and matching cladding for outbuildings, garages and fences. Characters available are rubble stone, flagstone, brick, stone combined with brick and, for themed projects, faux timber and half-timbering.
We work from the architect’s design, photos of the existing building or our own proposal. Before covering a whole wall we can prepare a texture and colour sample. The technique has been used on private houses, a small hotel, pharmacies, a petrol station shop, a shopping centre, a canteen and an administrative building.

Technology
Substrate, modules and coordination
Before starting we assess the condition of the wall and agree substrate preparation and water drainage with the client, because the durability of any façade depends on them. We work directly on a prepared substrate, or build additional steel structures, lightweight space frames and modular elements, using cementitious and polymer-modified systems, EPS/XPS, composites, mesh and reinforcement.
On large projects some elements can be fabricated off site, divided into transport modules and installed with invisible joints. We coordinate with the architecture, structure, insulation, building services, lighting and other trades, so the visual effect does not cost durability, safety or future maintenance. Surfaces are finished with multi-layer painting and patina and a coating suited to outdoor conditions.
