The plaza during installation
A walk across the Heart of the Park during installation: the mermaid guardians already stand on their pedestals, the fisherman sits on his barrel in a green bronze patina, and the paving and brick walls are still being finished around them.
The eight guardians were made as four pairs — Vikings, Mermaids, Dragons and Baltambrya — each pair a separate project with its own armature, sculpting and colour.
