Facade · Zhabinka, Belarus
A stone manor on a quiet street
A three-storey private house dressed by hand in layered stone, with dark arched window surrounds, cobblestone corners and a sculpted stone balustrade at the entrance.
Before / after — drag the handle
From plain brick to a stone manor

The facade
Three kinds of stone, one house
The walls are thin layered stone in warm brown and sand tones; the corners and plinth are rounded cobblestones; every window sits in a dark, rough-hewn arch with keystone joints, linked by stone pilasters into one composition.
The entrance stair got a sculpted balustrade with turned balusters and stone balls on the newel posts — all modelled and coloured on site.
During the works
The house was clad wall by wall from the scaffolding: first the garden side, then the street facade.
Entrance: before & after
White balusters and a plain dark plinth became a stone stair: rough-hewn balusters and newel posts with stone balls, cobblestone walls along the stair and the ramp, a stone frame around the garage door.
