Artisan Aleks Company is developing a new generation of specialist material systems for artificial rockwork, sculpted trees, sculptures, facades and complex themed environments. Development is guided by the real needs of the artists, sculptors and builders who create these environments.
WHY WE ARE DEVELOPING IT
Developed from Real Construction Experience
We do not approach material development as a laboratory exercise alone. Our work is informed by years of hands-on experience creating artificial rocks, sculpted trees, facades, sculptures and large themed environments.
We understand where existing systems become too heavy, too brittle, difficult to sculpt or dependent on extensive mesh and multiple application layers. Our goal is to develop materials that are practical in the workshop and effective on a real construction site.

Artisan Sculpt Epoxy Exterior
CURRENT STAGE — RAW MATERIAL SOURCING AND PREPARATION FOR INITIAL LABORATORY TRIALS
INITIAL FORMULATION PREPARED
Artisan Sculpt Epoxy Exterior is a two-component epoxy sculpting compound being developed for indoor and outdoor decorative applications.
After the components are combined, the system is intended to form a dense, plasticine-like mass that can be applied to prepared substrates and sculpted directly into rock, bark, skin, ornament and complex three-dimensional detail.
INTENDED SCULPTING CAPABILITIES
From Natural Forms to Fine Artistic Detail
The system is being developed to create both large natural forms and fine decorative details from the same sculptable compound.






Natural Rock Texture
Deep fractures, layered planes and natural irregularity formed directly by hand.
Detailed Tree Bark
Fine fibres, cracks, layered bark plates and knots integrated into one cohesive sculpted surface.
Intricate Sculptural Detail
Scales, leaf veins, ornamental edges and controlled undercuts for highly detailed work.
Concept images illustrate intended sculpting applications. Final workability and performance will be confirmed through testing.


HOW THE SYSTEM IS INTENDED TO WORK
A Sculptable Layer Over a Prepared Substrate
2. Reinforced Sculpting Layer
The planned formulation combines an epoxy binder with lightweight microspheres, selected fillers and reinforcing fibres.
The material is being developed as a lightweight, reinforced sculpting layer applied over a properly prepared substrate. The workable surface can then be shaped by hand into rock, bark, relief or complex three-dimensional detail.
Conceptual system only. Final formulation, substrate compatibility and application thickness will be confirmed through testing.
1. Prepared Substrate
EPS/XPS, concrete, wood, metal and composite substrates may be considered, subject to appropriate surface preparation and compatibility testing.
3. Hand-Sculpted Texture
While workable, the material is intended to be shaped, carved and textured by hand before curing.
